INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE - ONE DAY COURSE
Want to learn how to massage those nearest and dearest to you? Or are considering studying massage and want to learn some basics before enrolling on a long course?
These one day introductory courses give you the tools and skills to give a firm/deep relaxation massage to the back, neck and shoulders. Attention is on the practical application of techniques and most of the day will be spent on practical sessions. Important information on contra-indications to massage is also covered in the brief but informative morning theory session.
No prior experience is required, just a desire to learn! No partner is required as students will practice on each other during practical sessions. Class numbers are limited to 10 to ensure the tutor has enough one-on-one attention for each student.
The cost of this one day workshop is just $160, including notes, morning and afternoon teas/coffees and biscuits and fruit. Water is available to drink throughout the day. A packed lunch is advisable as the lunch break is half an hour which doesn't leave much time to go out for lunch!
Workshops are held at a variety of Auckland venues, and other venues in the North Island as demand arises. Details of venues will be available upon booking. They are usually held on Saturdays, however if there are enough enquiries for a Sunday, this can be arranged. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to start of workshop. If the tutor needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances the deposit will be refunded in full.
I look forward to seeing you on one of these fantastic workshops!
NEXT INTRODUCTORY MASSAGE COURSE IS ON Sunday 24th September 2017 (Spaces are limited)
